Overview
Your Sola dashboard serves as your central command center for managing quotes, policies, customers, and your agency's operations. This guide provides an overview of the dashboard's key features and navigation.
Dashboard Sections
The dashboard is organized into several main sections:
Home: Overview of key metrics and recent activity
Quotes: Manage and track all your quotes
Policyholders: See customer information and manage policies.
Claims: Get information on the claims process of your clients.
Renewals: Track and manage renewals.
My Agency: Manage permissions, add agents, download reports.
Rewards: Track your earnings and rewards
Resources: Download marketing materials and access the help center.
Navigation Overview
To navigate between pages using your Sola dashboard, you will use the left side "Navigation Bar". In the image below, the highlighted section indicates the placement of the sidebar.
Navigation Bar Hover Interaction
When hovering over it, the "Navigation Bar" expands, displaying the name of the page. By clicking any of the buttons of the navbar, the user will be directed to the page of their choosing. The image below shows how the interaction works.
Table Navigation
When managing quotes, policies, renewals, or claims, users will have access to tables that display all available information for each category. There are two key aspects to consider when using these tables to enhance your experience.
The first usability aspect to consider is that tables scroll horizontally, which means some information in the tables is not visible on the screen unless you scroll the table to view it. Below is a visual of the horizontal scroll information.
The second usability aspect is the search. Using it will save you time when searching for a specific quote or a policy that requires action. Below, the bar highlighted shows the location of the search tool.
Notifications Overview
Sola’s dashboard includes a smart notification system designed to highlight the most important actions each time you log in.
When you're generating a quote or binding a policy, other operational items, such as a failed payment or a manual renewal that needs processing, may not be immediately visible. Notifications surface these items proactively, ensuring you’re always aware of the actions needed to keep your operations current and running smoothly.
The notification appears in two forms:
At the top right of your dashboard.
On the navigation bar.
The image below highlights where the notifications will show up on your dashboard.
On the navigation bar, notifications will appear in a red box with a number, indicating the number of notifications related to that specific page.
💡 Use the left sidebar to navigate between main sections.
💡 Click the New Quote button (available on multiple pages) to create quotes quickly.
💡 When managing quotes or policies, use the search bar to find the specific quote or policy you are looking for.
